The best and worst parts
The historic charm captivates, with high ceilings and a lovely atmosphere! The staff's warm hospitality makes you feel right at home, while the convenient location is just a 2-minute stroll from town.
While the ambiance is great, shower pressure was underwhelming and some maintenance could use attention. Noise from the street occasionally interrupted the tranquility of the stay.

The hotel is in a great location to local museum. The single room is silent with comfy beds, the most luxurious duvet plus access to the garden.

Overall very comfortable stay on road trip. Fairly clean hotel in a beautiful building adjacent to the Highlands, the centre of Annan and Railways. Fab food for breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable beds in our superior queen room. Marvellous and easy location with parking nearby. Nearby Queensberry Arms - great place to chill out.

The shower pressure could use some improvement, as it was inconsistent and affected the overall experience. Breakfast options were limited to toast and jams, which isn't ideal when travelers may be looking for a more substantial meal. Some areas showed signs of minor maintenance issues, like dusty corners that could use a little attention. Lastly, the heating was quite effective, but there were a few instances of rooms being overly warm, which can be uncomfortable.

We had a cozy stay, enjoying the spacious family room with a comfy TV setup for the kids and some tea and coffee to unwind. The lovely garden area offered a nice spot to relax, and the friendly vibe. Just a heads up, the breakfast choices were a bit simple, but it didn't spoil our overall experience! 😊

The superior double room we stayed in was massive and super comfy! The bed was firm and the pillows were just right-both of us said it was the best sleep we've had in a while. It was super clean, and we really loved the mix of vintage and modern decor. The hosts were really attentive and even had free tea, coffee, and toast ready for us in the morning, a nice perk!

The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk to the river and fishing spots. We enjoyed cycling around the area, and the atmosphere was cute. Breakfast was a nice surprise, with coffee and toast. The roomy space and clean facilities were a bonus.
The only minor hiccup was the bed size in our room, but it was still cozy.
